Raw Material
We source sustainable Aromatic Red Cedar, Beech, and Lotus wood. Each block undergoes a strict kiln-drying process to stabilize moisture content between 8% and 12%, maximizing natural moisture absorption and odor control while preventing future warping.
Wood Cutting
Raw logs are processed via heavy-duty band saws into standardized blanks. Our technicians perform defect-cutting to eliminate knots and sapwood, optimizing grain alignment and ensuring structural integrity before the machining phase begins.
Machine Procession Area
Utilizing multi-axis CNC milling machines and copy lathes, the wood blanks are sculpted based on anatomical CAD shoe lasts. This process limits tolerances within $\pm$0.5mm, ensuring perfect symmetry and a flawless fit.
Cutting Hole
Specially calibrated twin-spindle boring machines drill precise longitudinal center-holes and transverse relief slots. This step reduces internal weight, optimizes airflow inside the footwear, and creates the channels required for flawless spring integration.
Sanding Area
To safeguard shoe linings, components undergo a progressive 3-stage sanding process, finishing with an ultra-fine 320-grit pneumatic drum. This creates a splinter-free, smooth surface while leaving the wood unvarnished for maximum breathability.
Assembly Area
Artisans manually press-fit high-tension, rust-resistant stainless steel twin-spring elements into the polished wood. Each shoe tree is mechanically tested for optimal expansion force (15–20N) and passes a quality control check before eco-friendly packaging.
